Using Jaring SMTP from Streamyx

If you are a Jaring account user and wants to send an email using Jaring SMTP while still on Streamyx network, you'd need to configure your email client to send in the SMTP authentication.

From Outlook Express, follow this steps:

• Go to Tools > Accounts.
• Click on the Mail tab and select the Jaring mail configuration.
• Then click on the Properties button.
• Select the Servers tab.
• Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, check the My server requires authentication option.
• Click on the Settings button.
• Select Log on using option and fill in the Username and Password fields. Foe the username, just key in the username without the domain values (use loginid, instead of loginid@pc.jaring.my)
• Click OK to save your settings and exit from all dialog boxes.
