It seems that the domain www.rapidshared.org is finally up for sale.

I'm now looking at www.filestube.com. Quite an impressive search.

Email Account Inactivity Policy

The other day, someone mentioned to me that all the messages in her Hotmail account were gone. The only message left is the Hotmail Welcome email.

I decided to do some searching on the 3 mostly used free email providers (Yahoo, Google, Hotmail) and found these info out, with regards to the inactivity policy.

Gmail has 9 months. Read the policy here.

Yahoo has 4 months. Read the policy here.

Hotmail has the shortest grace period, 30 days(1 month)! Read here.

Update: A comparison is available here.

The Web History

If you are looking for a webpage that's no more in existence, either due to close down of the site or the specific page has been updated, then you should probably find that good ol' page at web.archive.org.

I used to be able to download those old drivers here, when the original manufacturers were bought over by some other company.

The catch? You need to know the original website address.

The mirror is also available at archive.bibalex.org, in case the main site is down. The mirror is located at New Library of Alexandria, Egypt.

Nice Keyboard Remapping Program

Check out KeyTweak. It's a nice program to pull your friend's leg, or even to disable a nagging key on your faulty keypad. As of this blog entry, the version is v.2.2.0

Compliments to my colleague, Tie, for finding this program while fixing laptop keyboard problem for a co-worker, Ms Tiong.

Cheers!
